The main objective of the EntrepWellbeing project was to empower women, refugees, and minority groups to become successful entrepreneurs while promoting their mental, physical, and social well-being—especially during times of crisis. We aimed to create accessible upskilling pathways through tailored vocational training in entrepreneurship, innovation, health, and sustainability. The project sought to raise awareness about the importance of well-being in entrepreneurship, reduce economic and social inequalities, and foster inclusion and diversity. By implementing the project, we also aimed to support the sustainability of businesses in crisis contexts, encourage civic engagement and community participation, and build a transnational network of individuals, institutions, and stakeholders to exchange best practices. Ultimately, we wanted to foster resilient, healthy, and inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems across Europe.
The EntrepWellbeing project was designed to address critical barriers faced by women, refugees, and minority groups in accessing entrepreneurship opportunities, particularly in times of crisis. These groups often experience systemic discrimination, limited access to education, funding, and support networks, alongside heightened mental and physical health challenges. The COVID-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine, and other recent crises have deepened these inequalities. We applied for this project to empower these vulnerable populations through targeted, inclusive adult education focused on entrepreneurship and holistic well-being. The project aimed to create upskilling pathways and foster resilience by integrating business training with mental, physical, social, and community health support. Our goal was to ensure that entrepreneurship is not only economically viable but also sustainable and healthy, thereby promoting inclusion, equity, and long-term societal impact.
