Objectives

By implementing the project we wanted to achieve the following objectives: - Identify country-specific opportunities and challenges for migrant entrepreneurship. - Create the basic competencies to develop small-scale businesses of immigrant older adults through a learning process based on case studies, using the "Agile Business Design" ("BUSThink") methodology, which will be created specifically for this project. - To provide an entrepreneurial design process focused on attitudinal aspects and agile methodologies with the purpose of achieving the objectives in reasonable times and at the lowest cost. - To enable partner organisations to acquire new skills and competencies to train groups of older people so that they can successfully develop small businesses. The expected results of the project are related to the creation and development of a personalized learning offer that will take into account the needs of adult educators, with the aim of producing an innovative methodology that helps to foster better conditions for immigrant groups, help their integration into society and contribute to the creation of new entrepreneurial activities.

Background

When applying for this project, we were looking for: - To develop and test an innovative tool that would allow entrepreneurs to develop their business plans through an in-depth analysis of all the elements to be taken into account, while doing so in an easy and friendly way. - To help older adult migrants to be able to develop their business ideas, training them in useful business principles that allow them to redefine and validate their value propositions within a market segment. - To better understand the elements that characterize the group of older adult migrants, as well as the motivations that lead them to want to carry out an enterprise, and the needs that arise for this reason. - To expand and improve the entrepreneurial skills of educators in partner organisations. - To develop an informal network of trainers working with immigrant adults. - To gain experience as a newcomer organisation in the Erasmus+ programme, through the coordination of a small-scale partnership project.
