We applied for SPANIT project because we identified the urgent need to improve the inclusion, motivation, and linguistic skills of adult learners (migrants, prisoners, and Erasmus participants), which need is in line with the EU Multilingualism Strategy for strengthening social cohesion, intercultural dialogue, and European integration, also based on the growing number of migrants entering. The project addresses several specific needs: - Improving the reception and inclusion of adults by increasing their sense of belonging and motivation, essential for long-term integration and EU values promotion - Providing innovative tools and methods for teachers to better manage multiethnic and multigenerational classes, that recreate real-life services and local activities of Palma de Mallorca and Capri - Offering practical language courses to disadvantaged groups (migrants, women seeking emancipation, NEETs, students with economic difficulties, and prisoners) - Fostering internationalization and modernization of the two partner NGOs, In Progress and EUSA, allowing them to exchange best practices, improve their teaching quality, and widen their target groups
