EduCross aimed to achieve several goals. First, we wanted to foster international collaboration by promoting cooperation and exchange between our partners across Europe. This would encourage the sharing of best practices and innovative teaching methods. We also aimed to enhance digital skills among both students and staff by integrating new technologies into our educational processes, helping everyone prepare for the demands of today’s digital world. Another key goal was to promote inclusion and equal opportunities, ensuring that students from disadvantaged backgrounds could participate fully and creating an environment that values diversity. We sought to develop language and intercultural skills, strengthening the ability of students and teachers to communicate in English and other languages while increasing their understanding of different cultures and fostering a sense of European citizenship. We aimed to support professional development by providing teachers and staff with opportunities for growth through training, workshops, and international exchanges, which would enhance teaching quality and school management. Last, we aimed to create sustainable educational resources by developing and sharing innovative teaching material
As a School, we realised that Digital Skills are a priority, and we applied for this project to address this growing need for innovative solutions in education and technology. The project aims to enhance learning experiences and improve accessibility for diverse groups of learners. By leveraging modern tools and methodologies, we seek to foster inclusivity and engagement in educational settings. We observed a growing demand for international mobility experiences that would allow participants to acquire practical skills in multicultural environments, addressing the challenges of an increasingly globalized job market. We also recognized that collaboration with European institutions was limited, restricting the exchange of best practices and educational innovation within our organization. The EduCross project was designed to: -Improve students’ and teachers’ digital and language competences, with a focus on speaking and communication skills in online environments. -Foster inclusion and equal access to education for disadvantaged groups, including refugees, students from low-income families, and those with special educational needs. -Promote innovative, student-centered teaching methods that leverage modern ICT and web 2.0 tools.
