Background

There were several reasons for submitting this project: FOR HAURRESKOLAK AND NATURALMENTE: The project enabled them to improve the work they were doing in early childhood with an intercultural and sustainable perspective. Their activities are designed in line with these perspectives, but there was room for improvement. It was believed that the project would enable them to improve their working approaches. FOR BJIHSC (an organization that was replaced by JEB - Józsefvárosi Egyesített Bölcsődék -): it was hoped that the project would bring a new scope to activities related to the area and to the institution's vision for the future, serving to expand the network, the set of tools and the methodology. It was also believed that the organization itself could help to develop a new and innovative approach at European level. CESIE ETS, PARTNERS HUNGARY, LA XIXA and EHU saw this project as an opportunity to explore how sustainability and interculturality could interact, while identifying the role they could play in ECEC for 0-3 year olds. We understood that the project proposed a unique combination of responsible, ecological and intercultural education from an early age.
