Enhance the digital skills of vocational training students focused on cybersecurity. Promote talent in cybersecurity. Achieve an innovative online learning process through gamification and artificial intelligence. Develop a platform that allows the creation of training programmes on cybersecurity tailored to the user's knowledge.
The project was developed to address a clear European need: the growing shortage of cybersecurity professionals and the lack of modern, structured and practice-oriented training in VET. Across partner countries, teachers and students faced similar challenges: curricula were often outdated, teachers lacked specialised materials, and learners had limited opportunities to practise real cybersecurity tasks aligned with labour-market requirements. At the same time, EU strategies such as DigComp, DigCompEdu and the Digital Education Action Plan emphasise the importance of strengthening digital resilience and cybersecurity competences in education. The consortium identified the need for innovative, accessible tools that could support both teachers and students in acquiring these skills. This led to the decision to develop the project focusing on: analysing the state of cybersecurity in VET, identifying training needs, defining essential content, and creating two complementary digital tools—a self-assessment platform and a gamified e-learning environment.
