The activity plan for 2023-2024 was centered around four key objectives derived from the Association´s Erasmus+ Accreditation. Objective 1: Train our community center staff and volunteers to enhance service quality and continuous development through Erasmus+ projects and collaboration with professionals, focusing on effective community engagement techniques. Objective 2: Promote awareness of Human Rights via non-formal education by inviting professionals to share experiences, fostering connections among youth and workers, and enriching cultural understanding. Objective 3: Encourage healthy living habits in youth by providing alternative recreational activities to harmful practices with the support of Erasmus+. This includes engaging young people in health-focused projects and inviting professionals to share strategies. Objective 4: Raise awareness about ongoing global issues like climate change and pollution. Facilitate initiatives for engaged youth to share experiences and build communication networks to combat ignorance about these challenges. All activities conducted during the project contributed to achieving these objectives. Additionally, the five mobilities supported various national priorities set forth in this call, including the EU Youth Goals, promoting active civic engagement, environmentally sustainable practices, and responsible behavior. The mobilities also emphasized the importance of incorporating digital elements to enhance engagement and learning experiences for all participants. The Mindful Generation youth exchange addressed Objective 3 by focusing on mental health awareness, including identifying sources, causes, and effects of mental health issues, as well as exploring different therapeutic solutions. Objective 2 was promoted through the training Gender Equality as a Space of Growth, which highlighted Human Rights and EU Youth Goals related to gender equality through non-formal education and participatory activities. The CyberKind training course addressed both Objective 3 and the priority of incorporating digital elements. It focused on various aspects of violence, particularly cyber-violence, discussing its root causes, forms, effects on victims, and the influence of social media. Participants gained insights into the dynamics of online aggression and its real-world consequences on mental and physical well-being, along with practical cybersecurity skills. Objective 1 was accomplished through a Study Visit to Norway, where we learned how youth centers effectively engage young people and ensure the sustainability of their programs. Lastly, the Promoting eARTh training course addressed Objective 4 and the priority of integrating digital components. This initiative focused on using art (both digital and traditional) to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through comprehensive social media campaigns.
