Objectives

80% of the Foundation's staff works in Educational Detention Centers for Minors and Educational Coexistence Groups, which are specific centers for the fulfillment of judicial measures depriving of liberty and weekend stay in the modality of compliance in the center. issued under the Organic Law 5/2000, of January 12, Regulating the Criminal Responsibility of Minors. These professionals are daily intervening with minors with judicial measures, with the problems that these profiles entail. The Foundation echoed the need that was continually expressed by the people it works with, the concern they had to learn about other professional realities in other countries, who also worked with these profiles of young people with conflicts and at risk of social exclusion. With this project we wanted to bring the reality of other entities that worked in the same labor sector closer to their staff, so that they could share their experiences. The Foundation has endorsed the primary objective of the 2030 Agenda, the guarantee that "no one is left behind." And for this reason, it wanted to promote equal opportunities, supporting the professional development of its workers, and so that its professionals with fewer opportunities could have access and participate in this type of projects. The Foundation, although it has been carrying out projects and activities within the framework of the Erasmus+ program for some years now, had never involved direct intervention personnel with minors with judicial measures who work in Educational Detention Centers for Minors (CIEM) in Educational Coexistence Groups (for young people with a semi-open regime) or in their Probation Centers. The main objective of this project was to offer its own professionals the opportunity to participate in a mobility project, for the first time in the Foundation. Project whose purpose was to promote and enhance the mobility and European participation of professionals who were working in the different centers of the Foundation, providing them with a learning opportunity for their professional development. Contributing to the development of the capacity to carry out quality work in the Foundation itself, and which is reflected in the daily work of professionals with young men and women. Another main objective was to continue supporting European and international cooperation between different entities, and for the internationalization of our Foundation as an improvement in education, training, and the integral development of the individual, and for them to feel more and more like citizens. Europeans and European citizens. Continue expanding your local and international NETWORKS and increase your international cooperation and projects. International contacts, projects and cooperation create opportunities for practical learning or study abroad, for the exchange of experiences between professionals, for comparative analysis and for development, as well as for quality improvement.
