The main objective of the project was to promote innovative and community-based responses to the most pressing challenges facing European youth, with a special focus on the inclusion and active participation of young people with fewer opportunities in our communities. Through non-formal learning activities, training, and exchanges aimed at both professionals and young people themselves, the project sought to empower youth to take on leading roles in the social and cultural life of their communities. This would be achieved by developing psycho-emotional, communicative, and artistic skills that enable them to grow holistically and contribute actively to their environment. Our purpose included creating alternative opportunities for training and social-labor integration, fostering the development of new profiles linked to art, craftsmanship, culture, and sustainability. By promoting these areas, we aimed for young people to develop skills that would open paths for them in emerging sectors related to the green economy and social innovation. The project also aimed to raise awareness among both young people and organizations working with youth about the importance of sustainability and environmental preservation. It sought to generate consciousness around the urgency of adopting environmentally respectful practices, while also fostering creativity and openness towards sustainable production and consumption models. Furthermore, the initiative aimed to establish a meeting space where participants from diverse backgrounds could exchange ideas, experiences, and work together in building effective solutions to common social issues, promoting a community-based approach and respect for diversity. This inclusive approach allowed each person to contribute their unique perspectives and talents, enriching the learning and collaboration process. Finally, the project was designed as a tool to strengthen collaboration among international organizations that share values of inclusion, democracy, and sustainability. This collaborative network aimed to facilitate a constant exchange of best practices and foster the development of joint strategies in the field of youth and non-formal education, with the goal of maximizing the impact of these practices on communities at the European level.
