By implementing our project, it is aimed to develop social awareness about the difficulties experienced by disabled people, their living standards, social life and work issues, to increase people's empathy skills and to support the issue of making the lives of disabled people easier as a result of the development of these empathy skills. In this context, first of all, the process was initiated from the origin of the word disability. Disability means a person who is restricted and encounters obstacles in many areas of life as a result of social/administrative attitudes and preferences, citing congenital or acquired diseases or accidental disabilities (visual/functional/mental/spiritual differences of the body). When we look at this definition, it is clearly written that disabled individuals will encounter obstacles from the very beginning. Even this definition is enough to restrict people. Based on this definition, our project aims to understand and empathize with people in different countries by addressing the difficulties experienced by disabled individuals in different areas from past to present. It supports understanding how the process and perception has changed from past to present, especially by explaining the activities and traditions held with visually impaired people in Spain. In this context, the goals we achieved with the realization of our project are as follows; - To raise the awareness of the people of Spain and Madrid, and then the societies of the participating countries, about visually impaired people, - To ensure that the needs of visually impaired individuals are understood, - To ensure that the problems experienced by visually impaired individuals are understood and to suggest solutions to these problems, - To ensure that all disabled individuals understand the importance of inclusion in society, - To remindg both parties that disabled individuals also have social lives and that they should be included in this social life, - To ensure that disabled individuals realize that they need to realize their dreams and be employed, even if it is difficult, based on their need for self-realization, - To provide support for their orientation towards sports and social life, - To ensure understanding of visually impaired individuals' feelings, thoughts and attitudes towards life, - To support the development of people's empathy skills and thought systems regarding people with disabilities, - To develop new ideas on how to make the lives of disabled individuals easier and making people think and care about this issue, - To raise awareness about the need to improve the quality of life of disabled individuals, - To raise awareness about the Erasmus Plus Program and Youthpass Certification processes, - To ensure that young people and participants with limited opportunities benefit from the opportunities offered by the Erasmus Plus Program, - To support young people's language development and strengthening their foreign language speaking skills, - To improve the perspectives of young people, participants with limited opportunities, disabled individuals, our target audiences, participating institutions and organizations on such social issues, and to ensure that they think about social problems and do not remain indifferent, - To ensure that young people are supported and encouraged to see different countries, meet different cultures, meet different people and learn new languages, - To ensure the destruction of thought structures and stereotypes such as racism, discrimination and xenophobia, - To draw attention to the inclusion of disabled individuals in society within the scope of the concept of social inclusion.
