We wanted to achieve through the implementation of the project that this youth exchange aimed to promote cultural rights, intercultural learning and counteract nationalistic narratives among young people in order to achieve a better intercultural dialogue in Europe. Objectives of our project: - Emphasize the importance of cultural rights and intercultural learning dialogue as a means to prevent ethnic conflicts and radicalization of youth. - To promote inclusion, acceptance and respect for other cultures among the participants, who were direct beneficiaries of the youth exchange. - To highlight how youth-led initiatives could deter nationalism and radicalization, and further promote intercultural dialogue at the community level in multicultural societies. - Equip young people with information on hate speech/crimes, violent extremism and radicalization leading to nationalist rhetoric to oppose and help acquire intercultural competencies. - Promote youth participation in civic life as a way to advocate and practice intercultural learning and dialogue in the communities in which they lived.
