Objectives

There’s a great quote by Paulo Coelho that helps put an explanation of culture in perspective: “Culture makes people understand each other better. And if they understand each other better in their soul, it is easier to overcome the economic and political and every other barrier. But first, they have to understand that their neighbor is, in the end, just like them, with the same problems, the same questions, just different stories.” By sharing aspects of your culture, you are creating an exchange that has many benefits—you can hold on to the heritage and traditions you grow up with, while also introducing your world to other participants and the environment. The exchange of ideas, styles, and traditions, music, colours etc is one of the benefits of living in modern and multicultural society. The main objective of the cultural exchange project "Culture, Art, and About" is to create a higher level of awareness among young people about different cultures and to highlight the similarities that exist between them. By using art as a means of cultural exchange, the project aims to provide a space for participants to learn and share their own cultural elements. The impact of social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc., on young people's lives is also addressed. The aim is to: 1. Provide an opportunity for participants to discover cultural similarities through art elements. 2. Raise awareness in the community about cultural stereotypes and how to break them. 3. Initiate discussions about the importance of culture and art and how to promote them. 4. Share and teach others about their traditions, habits, music, dance, etc. 5. Explore different elements of art, such as music, dance, painting, storytelling, digital movies, crafting, etc. 6. Improve participant's knowledge on how to use the internet and social media in a positive way. 7. Allow young people to travel through different elements and discover the world from a new perspective. 8. Encourage young people to share their traditions, songs, language, poetry, and other cultural elements on social media. 9. Foster creativity and inspire young people to make an impact in their communities. 10. Promote Erasmus+ opportunities and competences among young people. 11. Through non-formal education, the project aims to provide a new experience for young people and encourage them to become leaders in their communities by engaging in discussions about the value of art in our lives.
