This proposal responds to the need to make young people aware of the individual responsibility that we citizens of Europe have with the climate change problem. We want to raise awareness among the participants, let them know about ways to emit fewer emissions and disseminate this knowledge to the rest of the citizenry to reach as many people as possible. We will promote the active participation of young people and empower them to lead an exchange that they have requested. It is an issue that worries them. Non-formal education methodologies will be used, prioritizing an inclusive approach and with a gender perspective to guarantee the full participation of all profiles, since we have young people with different circumstances who need special support. The young people will be involved in the implementation phase of this form until the last day of the exchange. We want to respond to the initiatives that arise from the young people themselves. Empower them to carry out projects that make them feel like full citizens. We will also create synergies between the environmental organizations with which we will work in Lapland and Malaga, which will carry out the workshops, talks, colloquiums, workshops, visits to natural parks, etc. We will give an international dimension to the project and we will create synergies that will bear fruit in future joint projects both in Malaga at the national level and in Finland at the international level. We will raise awareness about the importance of respecting the planet for our survival. The objectives of the exchange are: 1. Create a two-way youth exchange in Malaga (Spain) and Lapland (Finland) on climate change and sustainability. 2. Foster among young people the belief in individual actions to improve the world 3. Promote awareness among young people and empower them to participate in actions against climate change 4. Improve social cohesion between young people of different profiles and create spaces for friendship between the two countries 5. Stimulate European awareness and empower young people, regardless of their social and cultural background, to be full citizens and actively participate for a better Europe
