This proposal responds to the need to make young Europeans aware of the migration phenomenon in Europe with the aim of improving social cohesion, fostering mutual understanding between different cultures and putting prejudices aside so that there is peace. We will promote the active participation of exchange youth, but also of young immigrants and refugees, both in Spain and in Italy. We want to generate spaces of mutual understanding where different cultures can be shown, based on respect. Non-formal education methodologies will be used prioritizing an inclusive approach and with a gender perspective to guarantee the full participation of all profiles. The involvement of young participants will be sought in all possible phases of the project. We will implement innovative educational methodologies to reach all types of young people. We want to respond to the initiatives that arise from the young people themselves. Empower them to carry out projects that make them feel like full-fledged citizens. We will also create synergies between organizations that work with refugees and young illegal migrants, who will be the protagonists of the workshops, talks, colloquiums, workshops, study visits, etc. We will give the project an international dimension and create synergies that will bear fruit in future joint projects. We will raise awareness about the importance of respecting all cultures and the support we must give to people in migration or refugee situations to promote peace. The objectives of the project are: 1. Know the problem of the migration phenomenon and foster the critical spirit of young people in this field in a positive way. 2. Improve social cohesion between young people of different profiles and create spaces for bonds of friendship to emerge 3. Normalize diversity in society 4. Improve the view of young migrants/refugees 5. Stimulate European awareness and enable young people, regardless of their social and cultural origin, to be full citizens.
