With this project we want to create a space for collective participation, giving young people the opportunity to get to know themselves and others based on their own singularities. We will use non-formal education methods. Giving an unbalancing role to art and writing, as tools for self-knowledge and expression. Based on a unanimous strategy of all partners for inclusion, we will involve young people from different backgrounds and social contexts in our programme, giving them the opportunity to be part of social change through empowerment and learning. By encouraging the participation of young people facing social and economic difficulties. This project seeks to promote a vindication of the value of oneself and of human diversity, as the basis for establishing an open, flexible and healthy society, both psychologically and emotionally. Throughout the activities we will seek to promote self-recognition, the development of a positive self-concept and personal development. We will promote critical thinking and reflection, encouraging coherent and positive reasoning with oneself. Favouring the capacity to believe in oneself and the establishment of a solid basis of self-esteem for social and personal development. Therefore, our initiative will work to strengthen the social fabric through the recognition of differences as valuable elements. From our project we want to offer an exclusive experience that contributes to promote self-esteem, self-acceptance and tolerance in young people, fostering democratic values, active citizenship and social progress. "Differences work: Project for self-worth and peace of mind" enacts reflection on self-image and cultural references. Throughout the practice we will promote mental health, the strength of a positive outlook, the recognition of the environment, of oneself, and the impulse of the new generations in relation to the recognition of their own worth and their protagonism in the future of Europe. Throughout the project and in the activity with young people we will defend the following objectives: - To promote a healthy self-esteem by fostering psychological well-being and self-recognition. - To promote an internal dialogue based on self-confidence that can support the establishment of personal goals. - To encourage critical thinking towards rigid, non-plural and non-representative social models, by virtue of the recognition of differential traits and one's own singularities. - Encourage empathy, tolerance and appreciation of human diversity. - Support the strengthening of democratic values and the promotion of human rights. - Encourage young people to become agents of social change, claiming their leading role in the progress of their communities and Europe. - Promoting the value of artistic expression and writing as tools for finding oneself and expressing what makes us unique. Highlighting their role in social progress. - To create a learning framework by supporting digital skills and sustainability.
