The main objective of the project "Consejo juvenil rural - Valle del Tiétar" is to create and unite youth spaces in the Tiétar Valley, through dialogue with local politicians and the creation of youth iniciatives, where young people will develop their skills, learn to take the initiative and become more active citizens, both at local and European level. The specific objectives of the project are: 1.To create the Rural Youth Council 2. To encourage active citizen participation among young people 3. To promote youth initiative 4.To provide young people with practical tools on how to develop a project/initiative 5. To raise awareness about the needs, values, motivations and skills of youth among politicians and the population.6.To change the image of rural areas, to make more attractive to young people and prevent their flight to the cities 7. To integrate and unite all the youth of Tiétar Valley 8. To inform rural youth about and involve them in participation in EU programs.
