The objectives of Apply Yourself are: O1. To improve the employability of young migrants by highlighting their personal and professional skills and helping them identify job opportunities for their inclusion in the labor market. O2. To promote the mobility of young people between Spain and Germany for work. People considering living and working in other countries often lack knowledge about how the labor market functions in those regions, which places them at a disadvantage compared to locals. O3. To encourage the attraction of professionals to Spain and Germany. By providing the necessary tools for citizens to find employment, the entry of workers is facilitated. O4. To promote the use of technology in the workplace from an early stage, such as during the job search process. O5. To highlight the benefits of international experiences for companies and citizens, fostering equality, inclusion, and diversity in the workplace by incorporating migrants. O6. To foster commercial ties between interconnected countries and markets. O7. To increase cultural knowledge of these countries through work. O8. To enrich each participating entity through cooperation among them.
The movement of people between European Union countries or from third countries is becoming increasingly common. This is encouraged by the European Union itself and contributes to the cultural enrichment of all its citizens. For migrants to integrate into the host society, their inclusion in the labor market is essential, enabling them to develop their personal and professional lives independently. Efforts must therefore be made to promote their access to the labor market, especially for those entering it for the first time. Similarly, countries like Germany require more workers to remain competitive due to an aging population, with companies often reporting unfilled vacancies. To address this situation, a project like Apply Yourself emerges, aiming to facilitate the entry of young migrants into the labor market who wish to settle in Spain and/or Germany.
