Our project responds to the increase in inactivity in young people, caused by the increase in the use of screens and affecting health, through the increase in obesity, documented by the latest Eurobarometer, and the Gasol Foundation's report, "Steps". In response, we intervene in schools, families and clubs, with the objectives set by the WHO, to create an active society, generate healthy active habits and complement the HEPA strategy being carried out by the EU.
Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth, Mariya Gabriel, said: "The results we present in the Eurobarometer show that it is vitally important to continue and intensify our efforts to promote physical activity, healthy lifestyles and universal values, from gender equality to inclusion, through sport.
