The aim of the project was to enhance the international skills and language proficiency of both staff and students, as well as to strengthen TAKK's brand as an educational institution where adult students and employees can choose an international study and work experience path. The mobility periods also supported the goals set in TAKK's strategy. TAKK considered it important to offer students various opportunities to develop both their professional skills and general work-life skills.
The project has been based on international mobility as part of developing the skills of staff and students. Mobility periods have supported strategic goals, such as maintaining the professional curiosity and motivation of staff, and have strengthened TAKK's image as an attractive expert in continuous learning. Staff have been offered the opportunity to participate in week-long job-shadowing periods abroad, and students have been arranged approximately 2-week long work-based learning periods.
