In 2023, the University of Eastern Finland (UEF) implemented the Erasmus+ KA131 project with the goal of strengthening international cooperation and mobility among students and staff. The project was closely aligned with the main objectives of the Erasmus+ program and focused on several key areas: Expanding mobility: The project aimed to increase the number of student and staff exchanges between UEF and its European partner institutions, fostering cultural exchange and academic collaboration. Improving skills and employability: By offering opportunities for international mobility, the project supported students in developing language skills, gaining global experience, and enhancing their career prospects. Building strategic partnerships: The project contributed to the development and reinforcement of institutional relationships with UEF partner higher education institutions. Supporting blended learning: Through the implementation of blended intensive programs, the project combined physical mobility with virtual learning, making international experiences more accessible to a wider range of participants. Promoting inclusivity: A key focus was ensuring that mobility opportunities were inclusive and accessible to all students.
