Objectives

Training course: The project *Navigating Digital Tools within Youth Exchanges* aimed to empower participants to effectively use digital tools in organizing and managing youth exchanges. The primary goal was to bridge the gap between traditional youth exchange practices and digital innovation, allowing youth workers to better adapt to an increasingly digital environment. The project focused on enhancing participants' digital competence, helping them gain practical skills in using relevant online tools and platforms for planning, coordinating, and facilitating youth exchanges. Additionally, the project emphasized digital inclusion, ensuring all participants, regardless of their prior experience, could confidently engage with digital technologies while also taking into consideration challenges regarding privacy, security and other ethical questions. The project also sought to teach the participant the importance of early youth involvement in youth exchanges. Another objective of the training course, while learning important digital skills, was to develop and strengthen cooperation between different organizations in Europe that directly work with youngsters between the ages of 13 to 18. The aim of this was for everyone to find future collaboration opportunities and share the knowledge and skills regarding youth work and youth involvement. Youth exchange: The youth exchange “Everything is Art” aimed to explore the topic of respect through the creative lens of art, using artistic expression as a powerful tool for understanding and promoting this value. The primary goal was to encourage young people to reflect on respect in its various forms—self-respect, respect for others, respect for society—while using art as a means to communicate these ideas. By integrating different artistic methods such as painting, theater, music, and visual arts, the project provided participants with opportunities to express their views and emotions in a non-verbal, impactful way. The project’s objectives were to foster a deeper understanding of respect, build cross-cultural empathy, and strengthen the participants’ artistic skills to convey important social messages. Through collaborative art-making, discussions, and presentations, participants were to develop mutual respect and learned to appreciate diverse perspectives, reinforcing the idea that respect is fundamental to both personal growth and community cohesion. Additionally, the project wanted to raise awareness of the Erasmus+ program, the values of the European Union and promote youth mobility in the framework of Erasmus+ KA1 programs.
