Objectives

Objective 1: Genuine listening and participation of young people requires a sensitive ear and a work ethic from employees. The prerequisites for the success of the strategy's goals are also largely in the hands of adults working with young people. Their expertise requires continuous updating and new things must be absorbed all the time. Young people are often more skilled than employees, for example, in utilizing digital tools or in better “mapping” current themes that appeal to young people. In these respects, exchanging experiences and ideas with European colleagues can be particularly fruitful. Objective 2: The future functionality of the organization largely depends on new young people also joining the organization's structures and administration. The organization's rules state that 1/3 of both the board and the council must be young people under the age of 29. In order to maintain this minimum level, young people who are committed to the activities and motivated to influence/make decisions are needed. Erasmus+ forms of action (exchanges and participation projects) serve as practical tools in this objective. Different hobbies also develop best when the target group is genuinely involved in planning the activities at all levels. Objective 3: Our strategy states that getting new young people involved is one strategic goal. A prerequisite for this is genuine participation in planning the activities. The development of hobbies requires genuine dialogue and co-development with the young people themselves and also among young people in youth groups. Participation is also one of the values of the organization, so living the value into reality also requires practical action. The activities opened up through accreditation provide an opportunity for this. Objective 4: The strategy of the youth club organization and the three-year program that implements it are cross-cutting, and not just the umbrella organization's own target programs. In order for the strategy to become a reality, training and development opportunities are also needed for local-level actors. By offering opportunities for international activities also to local level facilitators and actors, we are able to promote the goals of the organization and the EU youth program and policy in a concrete way. Mobility can also increase the motivation of a volunteer or professional facilitator to develop their own activities and commitment to youth work. Objective 5: According to the organization's vision 2030, we are the builders of the communities of the future. The goal cannot be achieved alone or only at the national level - the communities of the future will operate in a network-like manner, partly also independently of location.
