FSAA was a food and activism themed project aimed to 13-30 years old people who are interested in seeking for solutions to climate change and interested in sustainable solutions and food systems. The theme of the project was the alternatives and options for our current food systems, sustainable practices and civic activism. The idea of this project was based on the food system related lectures organised in 2022. During these lectures there were discussions with the young participants where the need for a project around the topics of food systems, solutions and activism was presented. The need of enhancing one's opportunities to influence the transition towards sustainable systems played an important role in this project. Our main objectives were to provide meaningful experiences of one's possibilities to have impact in sustainable development and to offer practical ways to deal with eco-anxiety. We also aimed to provide chances to learn practical skills and obtain new perspectives to one's chances of taking part to sustainable practices. The activities were designed so one could obtain a comprehensive view to different possibilities to start their own project or become a part of pre-existing one. Out attempt was to bring different sustainable practitioners and young people interested in sustainable solutions, together. We aimed to strengthen the networks of the different practitioners, young people interested in taking part or and/or volunteering and different and different operators of the field of environmental activism. By strengthening this network, we wanted to provide possibilities for cooperation in between of these practitioners, operators on the field of activism and the young volunteers. We wanted to include young actives to the project's decision-making and organising on all levels possible.
