We aimed to strengthen the competence of vocational education teachers and students in the social and health care sector. The goal was also to develop study programs and teaching and learning methods that better respond to the demands and needs of future working life. We strive for the results of Nordic cooperation to increase the attractiveness of vocational education among students applying to the social and health care sector in partner countries. At the same time, the cooperation would facilitate the mobility of students and future employees to work in other Nordic countries. Participating institutions can offer new, attractive educational opportunities to a broader audience. Our objective was to learn from each other and share best practices in a new Nordic education model – a shared model for learning and teaching.
