Objectives

The association sought to draw inspiration from other cycling stakeholders regarding pedagogical methods for teaching cycling, as well as the actions and means implemented to work with the most marginalized audiences, such as women. Additionally, discovering and understanding other economic and organizational models was also one of the goals. The interest was particularly in discovering cycling in a city in Northern Europe as well as a Mediterranean city in the South.

Background

Cyclotopia applied to enhance its team's capacity to act and to build skills in order to make cycling more accessible in Marseille, by supporting various audiences. Cyclotopia aims to contribute to more sustainable cities by promoting cycling and seeks to draw inspiration from local, national, and European partners, especially since it is a recent organization (founded at the end of 2021).
