- For PWD: Actively participate in inclusive mobility to develop psychosocial skills (confidence, self-esteem, autonomy) by exploring new environments. - For the association: Organize mobility with and for PWD, strengthen the European network, and initiate advocacy for the harmonization and portability of social rights in the EU. - For society: Change perceptions and promote PWD as active citizens in Europe.
Too many people with disabilities (PWD) still face daily obstacles, lose confidence, and feel excluded. Despite the legal framework on disability, an inclusive society remains to be built. APF France handicap works to strengthen their autonomy and empower them. Erasmus+ mobilities with European partners provide a unique opportunity to overcome these barriers, share practices, and promote the harmonization of social rights.
