The project aimed to strengthen pupils' professional skills, develop cross-curricular (psychosocial) skills, improve their language skills and get them back into school (by combating the risk of dropping out and supporting ambition in their education). The project supported staff in lifelong professional development and the promotion of innovative practices through work between peers from different education systems.
Our school Lycée Professionnel Anne Veaute is a rural school with 700 students located in the Occitanie region of France, offering level III to V courses. Our project is a response to the lack of economic and socio-cultural opportunities experienced by our students. It responds to an ambition for greater social inclusion, a strategy for getting people back into school and re-engaging them in their training pathway and post-bac project (pursuing higher education, professional integration).
