Audencia has been participating in the Erasmus+ programme for many years as part of a long-term strategy. This Erasmus+ project is therefore a continuation of our previous projects and contributes to our institutional strategy. Within the framework of its strategic plan ECOS, Audencia aims not to be the best school in the world, but to be a better school for the world. Our ambition is to train innovative and responsible managers with interdisciplinary skills, so they can make a positive contribution to the major challenges facing our organisations, societies and planet. Therefore, this Erasmus+ project was aimed at enabling students to develop key skills (openness, flexibility…) in order to become these innovative and responsible managers. As a pioneer in CSR, Audencia has placed ecological and social transition at the heart of its strategy for more than 20 years. As part of its low-carbon strategy included in its strategic plan ECOS, Audencia intends to transform its business model and move towards a low-carbon, circular and sustainable economy. Audencia's low-carbon strategy aims to define a trajectory for reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 in line with the Paris Agreement. It also sets short and medium-term targets. The intra-European mobility activities organised within this Erasmus+ project are therefore in line with our ambition to reduce the carbon footprint of our stakeholders - as the carbon footprint of intra-European mobility activities is usually lower than the carbon footprint of other mobilities (i.e. mobilities to faraway destinations). Beyond that, the project was aimed at enhancing the internationalisation of our institution at every level. On the one hand, the project was aimed at enhancing the internationalisation of our programmes and supporting outgoing student mobility, which is a core component of our educational process as long as most of our programmes include a semester abroad. The project was also aimed at fostering outgoing staff mobility to enable teachers and administrative staff members to gain international experience and intercultural skills so as to better understand the needs of international students and improve the quality of service to students as a whole. Finally, the project was aimed at enhancing internationalisation at home, which is also key to our strategy, through incoming student and staff mobility. Indeed, we want our students to have a truly international experience (courses in a foreign language, courses delivered by international teachers, courses with international classmates…) while studying on our campuses in France. Because Europe is very important in our international strategy, the aim was also to strengthen our collaborations with our long-term European partners. Thanks to the strong relationships we have built with our Erasmus+ partners, we will be able to develop new projects, including strategic projects.
