The institution, along with the teams involved in this project, had the primary ambition of implementing a European mobility program for our higher education students. This project also aimed to strengthen the quality and the European dimension of our educational offer. Staff mobility was also a key priority. This second project was intended to support the development of language skills, the discovery of the European area, as well as the acquisition of a wide range of professional skills (technical, digital, IT, interpersonal) through internships in companies. It also encouraged the sharing of knowledge and practices. Before the implementation of the Erasmus+ program, student mobility remained marginal, often limited by financial and family constraints. The integration into the program the previous year made it possible to quadruple the number of mobility applicants. It also provided families with a reassuring framework thanks to structured support: financial aid, an inclusion policy, individualized support from a mentor, and the validation of recognized and valued language and professional skills. Moreover, with this new Erasmus+ project, we aimed to offer our post-secondary students international exposure and meaningful professional experience in Europe. The main goal was to enhance their employability through internships abroad, thereby promoting the acquisition of professional, linguistic, intercultural, and personal skills. We also wanted to foster their autonomy, adaptability, and self-confidence, while highlighting the European dimension of our institution. This project fully aligned with our ambition to train active European citizens, aware of the challenges of the international professional world. This goal has been achieved, as our BTS SAM and Tourism students were able to take part in mobility programs in Spain, Ireland, and Malta. We are proud of our students and support them as best we can to accompany them in this new experience.
