Objectives

The Lyfe Institute is continuing its strategy (already implemented at the 2022 Convention) to promote the internationalisation of its programmes, in line with the commitments of the ECHE Charter. The Erasmus+ 2023 project is fully in line with this dynamic, with the following objectives: - To strengthen outgoing student mobility by diversifying destinations and types of mobility (studies & internships). - To integrate mobility into curricula as a lever for personal, professional and intercultural development. Since 2022, mobility has become compulsory in the third year for students in Hospitality Management and Restaurant Management (studies & internships); it is largely funded by Erasmus+ grants. - Strengthen the incoming mobility of students and staff by increasing the promotion of our programmes and teaching methods (international fairs, webinars, videoconferences, etc.). - Improve support for participants by structuring the administrative services dedicated to mobility and enhancing the quality of follow-up before, during and after mobility (webinars, newsletters, welcome and follow-up events). - Implement an inclusive strategy, gradually emphasising inclusion criteria in order to facilitate access to mobility for all student profiles, including those from less privileged backgrounds. - Contribute to the Erasmus+ programme's sustainability priorities by consistently including the main means of transport chosen by students when submitting their grant application. The 2023 project thus aimed to consolidate the achievements of previous years while addressing identified weaknesses, particularly in terms of communication, administrative support and the formalisation of institutional strategies.
