Objectives

For over 30 years, CentraleSupélec has resolutely been international-oriented: developement of long-term double degree mobility in engineering (T.I.M.E. network), plea for teaching and research in science and technology in Europe (CESAER network), setting up of short-term mobilities for credit transfer, deployment of a new curriculum emphasizing cross-cultural competences of engineers, among others. Any engineering student at CentraleSupélec must validate an experience abroad of at least one semester to meet graduation requirements, whether it is an academic exchange, a profesional internship or a double degree. Welcoming international students and staff is also a key element of the School's strategy. This requires to strengthen the staff's crosscultural competences. Over half of the academic mobilities take place at European partner universities. The 2023 Erasmus+ project contributed to reinforce the European strategy of CentraleSupélec by granting scholarships to students on exchange, double degree or internships on the continent. It also favored and encouraged staff mobility to exchange good practices with colleagues of various horizons.
