Objectives

The main objective of implementing this project at ISG was to enhance the international dimension of our students’ academic and professional experiences. As part of our strategy, we aim to support students in expanding their personal and professional networks through both study abroad experiences and international internships. We believe that every type of mobility creates maturity, independence and adaptability. These are qualities that are essential for our students to succeed in the professional world. One of our goals is to structure international mobility in the curriculum. Encouraging students to study abroad during their 2nd year of the Bachelor or during the 3rd year of the Master helps them define their specialization for the final years of studies, and better prepare for their final academic years. The project is also aligned with recent changes in the curriculum, a mandatory study mobility period now occurs in the 3rd year of the master programme, allowing students to combine an international experience with the possibility of becoming "work-study students" in the final years of the master programme. We also looked to increase and balance outgoing and incoming mobilities. Strengthening our partnerships and welcoming more students to Paris also allows our students to experience 'international at home' while creating an international learning environment. Our efforts are not only focused on numbers but also on ensuring quality experiences for the students. By implementing this project, we hoped to inspire our students to explore international opportunities, gain self-confidence, and potentially pursue more global experiences during the rest of their studies. This first step abroad, often close to home, can be the start of even more ambitious international goals in the future.
