CONTEXT The Pôle Aliénor is a higher education institution accredited by the Ministry of Culture. It is a member of ANESCAS (national association of higher education institutions for artistic creation and the performing arts) and AEC (European Association of Conservatoires, Music Academies and Musikhochschulen). The pôle Aliénor welcomes annually about 100 students in 3 programs: - Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Musicien (DNSPM), linked to a degree in musicology at university. It is almost exclusively students enrolled on this performing musician course who take part in an Erasmus+ mobility. - Diplôme d'État de professeur de musique, a course often taken in parallel with the DNSPM/Licence. This course, which is closely linked to the initial French teaching system (conservatoires and music schools), makes it difficult for students to move to other countries for long periods of time, and even less so when they are taking both courses at the same time. - Master's degree from the University of Poitiers: "Music: Research and Ensemble Practice", of which the pôle Aliénor is a partner. Most students enrolled on this course are foreign students, who are already ‘mobile’. As they are primarily enrolled at the University of Poitiers, any Erasmus+ mobility should be considered through the university. The percentage of foreign students enrolled in courses, excluding Erasmus In students, varies from 7.5% to 12% depending on the year. The majority of them are international students from outside the European Union. In addition, in the field of continuing professional development, the pôle Aliénor develops a range of short and long courses for musicians and dancers, artists and/or teachers. It also regularly organises sessions leading to the State Music Teacher's Diploma (Diplôme d'État de professeur de musique) through vlidation of professional experience (VAE). All of the school's teachers work part-time at the pôle Aliénor and undertake other teaching and/or artistic activities. OBJECTIVES The long-term objective is to establish a genuine international culture within the institution, by stabilising the number of outgoing students and developing staff mobility, both incoming and outgoing. This will strengthen links with partners, improving the quality of teaching and the institution's operations in line with its development priorities. The 2022–24 project showed a stabilisation, or even a slight increase, in requests for outgoing mobility, and the number of incoming applications for the 2022–23 academic year was similar to that in previous years. However, in 2023-2024, there were fewer incoming and outgoing applications. The 2022–24 project enabled 6 long SMS mobilities, and 4 outgoing staff mobilities to be carried out. Meanwhile, the TUNE cooperation partnership (2021–2024) facilitated numerous short group exchanges for traditional music students and teachers. The majority of staff mobility was linked to this partnership. The 2023–2025 project builds on previous projects and the TUNE partnership. The main result of the latter was the implementation of a joint module, which will lead to short term mobilities from the 2024-2025 academic year.
