The implementation of this Erasmus+ project addressed several strategic objectives closely aligned with Grenoble INP - UGA’s international policy. First and foremost, it sought to strengthen the international visibility of our institution and the Grenoble region by developing both incoming and outgoing mobility opportunities for students and staff. The project also aimed to translate our internationalisation strategy into practice by providing financial and logistical support for student mobility, particularly for engineering and business school students for whom an international mobility period is a curricular requirement. In this context, 209 mobilities were financially supported, while actively seeking additional funding (from the Region Auvergne-Rhônes-Alpes, MESRI, and other specific programs) to ensure a fair and well-targeted allocation of resources. In addition, this project contributed to strengthening and sustaining our European partnerships, giving them tangible impact in terms of education, research, and academic cooperation. All these actions are fully embedded in the international strategy of Grenoble INP - UGA, structured around four key pillars: - Leveraging our international networks (academic and industrial) to transform our institution and position it as a leading international player. Our networks are a cornerstone of our strategy: for example, Grenoble INP - UGA coordinates, on behalf of UGA, the European University Alliance Unite!, focused on innovation, technology, and engineering, bringing together six European partners. Beyond Europe, we have built strong collaborations with Africa, Latin America, Vietnam, Canada, and China. - Building on our flagship expertise and state-of-the-art platforms to increase our attractiveness and strengthen international collaborations. This virtuous dynamic between education, research, and international cooperation is central to our institutional development. - Developing an international education offer abroad that reflects Grenoble INP - UGA’s identity and academic excellence, leveraging our networks and membership in consortia to design innovative international programmes. - Promoting balanced, mutually beneficial partnerships with developing countries, particularly in terms of mobility, double degrees, research, and the exchange of expertise and best practices. Overall, this Erasmus+ project has successfully combined individual support for mobility with an institution-wide strategic approach, thereby fostering both the internationalisation and the global outreach of Grenoble INP - UGA.
