The Dupuy de Lôme High School is a traditional and technological educational institution. At the post-baccalaureate level, it offers three BTS programmes and a Diploma in Accounting and Management. The reform of the BTS SAM training programmes, in particular, includes an international culture component and encourages internships abroad. As part of their training, our students are strongly encouraged by their teachers and the director of technological education to complete their first-year internship in a foreign company. As part of the 2023 call for projects, 10 students went abroad (we had planned for 12). We note that due to Brexit, no students went to Great Britain for fear of the complications that might follow. For these classes, the objective is to immerse themselves in the culture of the host country, to practise the language, but also to enhance their career prospects, employability and intercultural skills.
