Convinced that experience abroad is a key factor in shaping participants' higher education pathways, and strongly committed to building the European Higher Education and Research Area, University Bourgogne Europe (UBE) aims to enable as many of its students as possible - particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds - to spend at least one semester at a partner university or company in Europe by taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the Erasmus+ programme. UBE also wanted to develop international mobility within the framework of Erasmus+ (on an experimental basis without geographical restrictions for SMTs and initially with the United Kingdom and Switzerland for SMS students). A similar ambition applies to the professional development, growth and enrichment of its staff, whom UBE encourages participating in training or teaching mobility programmes. Last but not least, UBE is relying on the AC131 programme to massively develop mobility within the framework of its European university alliance FORTHEM. The initial budget allocated (€1,637,380) was intended to enable us to achieve some 800 mobility placements.
