The project targeted different groups of students: 1 – Students in the Preparatory Course for Primary School Teaching (PPPE) This course is offered through a three-way partnership between the Lycée Val-de-Seine, the Department of Education Sciences at the UFR SHS, and the INSPE of Rouen, with links to research through the CIRNEF laboratory. The PPPE is a bachelor's level course that leads to a Master's in Education (MEEF – Primary School Teaching). Students work towards a degree in Education Sciences while also receiving subject-specific support at the high school. Main objectives: • Prepare students for a career as primary school teachers with regular internships. • Train students in teaching ethics. • Analyze teaching practices (based on their internships). • Learn to communicate effectively in writing and speaking, including physical presentation skills. • Strengthen core knowledge in key subjects: French, Mathematics, English, Science, Art, History & Geography, Philosophy, and Physical Education. Over the three years, students participate in internships and, in their third year (L3), are required to complete a 4-week observation placement abroad in a foreign-language educational system. The KA131-HED project supported students in preparing for and completing their international placements. The diversity of host countries and institutions allowed students to explore different education systems through a blended mobility approach. Digital tools helped them share and compare good teaching practices. Other goals included language improvement, increased independence, and a stronger awareness of European citizenship. 2 – Students in the BTS Support for Managerial Activities Program (SAM) As part of the BTS diploma requirements, students must complete an internship in an international context. They present their internship experience during their final oral exam, using materials in a foreign language. The KA131-HED project gave these students – who come from diverse backgrounds (with an index of 87 for social diversity) – a real chance to go abroad, with organizational and financial support, especially for those receiving scholarships. This mobility experience helped them improve their language skills, gain work experience, build self-confidence, and enhance their employability.
