The Polytech’13 project is implemented by the Polytech schools — the leading network of engineering schools in France, comprising 18,000 students and over 4,100 graduates each year awarded the prestigious Diplôme d’Ingénieur (equivalent to an MSc in Engineering). The primary target group of this initiative includes all engineering students within the Polytech network. In line with the academic requirements set by the Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur (CTI), all students must complete internship periods and an international mobility experience during their three-year engineering curriculum. The Polytech’13 project supports these mobilities by facilitating internships in European companies, thereby fulfilling both the compulsory internship and international mobility components of their training. Since its launch in 2008, the initiative has been successfully carried out by the Polytech schools, generating strong engagement from students, faculty, and researchers alike. It has contributed to building connections with over 800 European companies. In the most recent edition, the entire budget was allocated, enabling 266 student mobilities to be carried out.
