Objectives

Université Paris-Est Créteil Val de Marne is the largest multidisciplinary and professionalized university in the Paris region, offering a full range of courses (from Bachelor of Technology to PhD). With its 14 faculties, schools and institutes, 1 observatory and 32 research laboratories, it welcomes over 43,000 students, 12% of whom are international. UPEC employs 2,800 permanent and non-permanent staff, including around 1,600 teaching and research staff and 1,200 library, engineering, administrative, technical, social and healthcare staff . UPEC relies in particular on the Erasmus+ program to support its European partnerships, develop new ones and encourage staff mobility. Erasmus+ enables us to offer all our students a quality of internationalization that facilitates successful professional integration in a globalized world, through a combination of numerous outgoing mobility opportunities (studies and internships) and a home-based internationalization policy (hosting and sending staff via STA, STT, OM). The development of short European mobility programs, which UPEC systematically supports financially, enables a wider range of students to take part in mobility programs. UPEC has also joined the AURORA alliance of European universities (https://aurora-universities.eu ) and we can already see the benefits of this alliance in terms of student and staff mobility.
