Objectives

École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA) is a graduate engineering school and a public institution of a scientific, cultural, and professional nature. It is also a founding member of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris). The high-quality education offered by ENSTA includes a mandatory international experience of at least 18 weeks. This international mobility is essential to ensure that our graduates are well equipped for professional integration both in the national and international job markets, thanks to the global perspective they acquire. Erasmus+ plays a crucial role in supporting our students in their internationalisation, not only through the institutional framework it provides but also by offering the necessary financial support to carry out study or traineeship mobility abroad. It is also an indispensable tool for the intercultural and professional development of ENSTA’s teaching and administrative staff. Submitting a new grant application in February 2023 was a logical continuation of our internationalisation strategy, aimed at strengthening the linguistic, intercultural, scientific, and technical skills that are essential for the engineers and citizens of tomorrow. Our main objectives in implementing this project were: • To encourage and facilitate academic and traineeship mobility for our students; • To promote and support staff mobility; • To reinforce the internationalisation of our campus through exchanges with our European neighbours; • To foster the exchange of best practices and strengthen links with the various departments of our partner institutions; • To consolidate existing inter-institutional agreements by expanding mobility and/or research activities; • To develop double degree programmes at the European level; • To connect academic staff across institutions to build collaborative relationships (joint research projects, internship opportunities for students, etc.); • To establish new partnerships with European institutions and offer a wide range of opportunities to our students and staff for their intercultural, academic, and professional development.
