By implementing this project, the University of Caen Normandy wanted to offer its students and staff an international experience that would enable them to participate in the European dynamic. The University of Caen Normandy has been participating in the Erasmus program since its creation in 1987. This student and teacher exchange program is a key tool for the development of its intra-European mobility policy, led by Carré International (a joint service of the University of Caen Normandy responsible for implementing the institution's international strategy). In this context, over the past 38 years, our Normandy-based university has forged links with 230 European universities, forming a network of reliable partners that contribute to the institution's international influence and openness. The Erasmus+ project is part of UNICAEN's international strategy, which defines common areas of development for all of its educational and research units, while also allowing for specific disciplinary variations on these common areas so that the university's multidisciplinary approach remains an asset and a source of enrichment for all.
