The aim of this project was to enable students from the University of Le Mans at Licence, Master's and Doctorat levels to go on a mobility trip as part of their university course, either to follow courses (semesters or years) in a partner establishment or to carry out a professional immersion (work placement) in a structure (companies, associations, university structures, foundations, French administrations abroad, etc.). Several academic and personal development aspects are involved in this type of project, aimed at students: language acquisition or improvement, autonomy and independence, understanding a new education system, integration into a group of people, etc. In accordance with the Erasmus+ Charter, and in order to give all students an equal and fair opportunity to go on an international mobility trip, the University of Le Mans is introducing ‘inclusion’ packages, with the aim of increasing the number of mobility trips for as many students as possible, as well as the ‘green transport’ package. Staff mobility (academic and technical) for training and teaching purposes has also been carried out during this contract. This is something quite new for Le Mans Université, which is keen to develop this area further through various initiatives (mobility training, strong communication, personalised support).
