Context and Objectives The Erasmus+ mobility project 2023-1-FR01-KA131-HED-000118761, implemented by ECAM-EPMI from June 1, 2023, to July 31, 2025, is part of the institution’s long-term internationalisation strategy for engineering education. The project pursued several complementary objectives: To provide students with academic immersion in partner universities abroad, within a multicultural and dynamic environment, fostering the development of language, intercultural, professional, and disciplinary skills. To strengthen the quality of education and training through full recognition of learning outcomes acquired abroad. To improve internal mobility management processes through digital tools, better coordination between departments, and capacity building for administrative staff. To contribute actively to ECAM-EPMI’s international development and its visibility at the European and global levels. The project was conducted in full compliance with the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE), with special attention to the quality of participant support and academic recognition. Mobility Activities Implemented The project focused exclusively on outgoing student mobility for studies (SMS). A total of 10 student mobilities were carried out, all completed successfully, with a 100% participant report submission rate. Mobility destinations were as follows: Spain: 5 students completed one semester of studies at Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Canada: 4 students undertook academic mobility at Université Laval. Germany: 1 student was hosted at Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU) in Cottbus. No participant fell under the “fewer opportunities” category, although awareness-raising actions were conducted to reach such profiles. Mobilities took place between September 2023 and May 2025. Grants were calculated according to the Erasmus+ 2023 rates, with individual amounts ranging from €1,563 to €3,526, depending on the destination and duration. Qualitative and Organisational Approach Each mobility was supported through individualised assistance at every stage: Student selection based on motivation, academic coherence, and alignment with their curriculum. Pre-departure preparation: information sessions, administrative support, assistance with housing and visa procedures. During the mobility: regular contact with the International Relations Office, emergency support, verification of required documents. Academic recognition: full validation of ECTS credits earned abroad and their integration into the students’ academic path. Project management was ensured through collaborative governance involving the International Relations Office, Academic Affairs, and the Engineering Cycle Directorate, ensuring effective coordination and compliance with Erasmus+ standards. Strategic Perspective and Continuity This project contributed to reinforcing ECAM-EPMI’s role as an institution committed to student mobility in Europe. It aligns with broader strategic goals to: Develop new long-term partnerships with European and non-European institutions. Encourage greater diversity in student mobility profiles. Prepare the implementation of future cooperation projects (Key Action 2) and the internationalisation of the academic curriculum. In conclusion, the project 2023-1-FR01-KA131-HED-000118761 was successfully completed, meeting both quantitative and qualitative objectives. It allowed 10 students to benefit from a meaningful academic and personal experience, thereby strengthening the European dimension of their engineering education. The allocated budget of €24,914 was almost entirely used (€24,866), reflecting strict and efficient financial execution.
