Objectives

The École Pratique des Hautes Études-PSL (EPHE-PSL) is an institute of advanced studies and a component of the Université PSL, providing teaching at Master's level and above, mainly at doctoral level but also at post-doctoral level, in life and earth sciences (SVT) and human and social sciences (SHS). EPHE-PSL's objectives for its participation in Key Action 1 “Mobility for learning purposes” are : - To support exchange programmes at Masters and PhD level with its traditional European partners, - Support international partnership programmes leading to double degrees (e.g. Archaeology and Art History with the University of Basilicata, Arts, Museology and Curatorial Activities with the University of Bologna, Political and Cultural History of Medieval, Modern and Contemporary Europe with the University of Pisa), - increasing the number of international students on exchange programmes. European mobility programmes are tailor-made, both geographically and in terms of subject areas. The International Relations Department (DRI) pays particular attention to the Master's level, which receives comparatively little support in terms of mobility. During this period, EPHE-PSL also launched a pro-active approach aimed at its administrative staff to encourage their mobility through a half-yearly call for applications. EPHE-PSL issues two annual calls for applications, one in the spring and the other in the autumn, to all its students and teaching and administrative staff, which mention the specific criteria for inclusion and eco-responsible transport included in the programme.
