Objectives

The main objective of this project was to actively promote internationalization within Institut Agro, across its campuses in Angers, Dijon, Montpellier, and Rennes, in line with the institution’s strategic plan. The aim was to provide students and staff with meaningful opportunities for international mobility, thereby strengthening the institution’s commitment to global openness — a crucial aspect for addressing planetary challenges related to agriculture, food, and the environment, which are core themes of l'Institut Agro. By making international mobility mandatory in the engineering curriculum, whether through academic exchanges or internships, the institution seeks to enrich the educational experience, encourage cultural diversity, and foster a culture of exchange. Through this project, l'Institut Agro also intended to offer increasing financial support to students, remove potential barriers to mobility, and provide tailored support depending on the target groups. Finally, the initiative aimed to consolidate l'Institut Agro’s position in the international higher education landscape, by working closely with key partners in Europe and worldwide, with a focus on staff mobility to strengthen cooperation.
