To implement the Erasmus+ activities selected in its ECHE 2021-27 Erasmus+ strategy statement, the University of Corsica Pascal Paoli applied to the 2023 KA 131 call for projects to pursue its strategy of offering learning mobility opportunities for higher education staff. This approach is also intended to be a natural continuation of the mobility initiatives undertaken during previous Erasmus+ programming periods. As of July 18, 2025, the University of Corsica has 157 Erasmus+ partnerships negotiated with 89 partner universities located in 16 European Union countries—very interesting figures for a small university. Our main partner countries are Italy, Spain, Romania, and Belgium. These initiatives reflect an institutional commitment, demonstrated for many years, to developing mobility to the countries of the northern Mediterranean basin, on the one hand, the French-speaking world, on the other, and finally the island world. Since 2020, the Governance of the University of Corsica has sought to develop mobility for the Corsican university community to Italy and has appointed a Project Manager for Relations with Italy to this end. The number of mobilities to this country as part of this project is once again impressive, accounting for almost a third of our mobilities.
