Objectives

Since its creation, UTC has strongly promoted internationalization and has made the mobility abroad mandatory, in accordance with the standards set by the French Commission for Engineering Degrees (CTI). The year 2023 was marked by the adoption and continuation of UTC's international strategy, following the first phase (2020-2022) and entering a second phase (2023-2027). This new stage aims to structure the institution’s international presence around specific focus areas related to research and education, while fostering a partnership culture based on shared values and coherent approaches. Several tools are mobilized to support this ambition, the development of new Erasmus+ agreements aligned with strategic priorities, the continuation of the digitalization process, and UTC’s commitment to European initiatives, in particular the creation of the SUNRISE alliance in 2024 (Smaller Universities Network for Regional Innovative and Sustainable Evolution). The Erasmus+ programme is fundamental to our mobility efforts, as the majority of mobilities take place in Europe. It is aligned with UTC’s internal frameworks, as the implementation of the 2024 Student Life Master Plan, which includes actions in favor of inclusion and student well-being, as well as the monitoring of international activities led by the DPAC (Directorate for Planning and Quality Improvement). Initially, 316 mobilities were approved at the start of the project, and this number was later adjusted to 373 following the mid-project report, which is consistent with the total number of mobilities declared (373).
