Objectives

The project is part of the internationalisation drive that Mines Paris has been pursuing over the last 15 years, marked by a significant acceleration in exchanges in recent years. We actively encourage our students to undertake internships abroad, with a large proportion of them choosing Europe as their destination. In addition, we also encourage them to pursue a semester of study or even obtain a double degree abroad, and we facilitate these opportunities by collaborating with our European partners through Erasmus+ agreements and double degree agreements. The fundamental objective of this project is to support our commitment to student and professional mobility. The Erasmus+ programme is an important lever for the internationalisation and Europeanisation of our courses. It enables us to promote student mobility in order to develop the technical, intercultural and linguistic skills of engineering students. By giving our students access to programmes offered by European countries other than France, we broaden their academic horizons and enhance the diversity of their educational experiences, while raising their awareness of European values and identity. Teaching and training mobility opportunities enable our staff to exchange best practices and modernise our processes. They are also a means of encouraging the development of innovative teaching methods and strengthening the emergence or continuation of academic and scientific collaborations by providing access to academic networks of excellence. This project is therefore part of our ongoing commitment to promoting international exchange within our organisation.
