ENSFEA (Institution of Higher Education training teachers of national agricultural schools) is located near Toulouse, France - under administrative supervision from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty. The institution employs 156 civil servants, administrative agents, teachers, trainers and researchers. Initial and continuous training for students-teachers and further teachers of public agricultural and vocational public schools is at the heart of its activities. In addition to this core mission, ENSFEA carries out academic training, research activity and school educational and pedagogical support. International cooperation is one of the six missions assigned to the French agricultural educational system. ENSFEA has a confirmed expertise and many years of experience in international partnership as part of its global strategy. The institution pursues various projects and objectives: developing pedagogical innovation, increasing students-teachers-researchers mobilities, improving attractiveness while reinforcing its staff skills. Furthermore, the internationalisation of teacher training is a key issue at European level, and one that ENSFEA has fully embraced. This project thus contributes to structuring internal reflection on the importance of mobility for teachers and future teachers, while encouraging them to become more involved in these European and international experiences by sharing best practices and developing networks.
