Objectives

Located in the Vendée region of western France, Lycée Savary de Mauléon has held the Erasmus+ Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) since 2018. International openness is a key strategic priority within the school’s institutional project, supported by a committed teaching team. The school’s ambition is to offer every BTS (Advanced Technician Certificate) student the opportunity to experience a meaningful European or international mobility during their studies. This 2023 Erasmus+ project aligns with this vision and was structured around two main pillars: - Student traineeship mobilities, aimed at supporting their personal and professional development, - Staff training mobilities, to promote continuous professional development, the exchange of best practices, and the strengthening of European partnerships. The project had the following specific objectives: - To help students develop transversal, linguistic, and intercultural skills to support their employability and further studies; - To provide teachers with opportunities to enrich their pedagogical practices through structured training courses and immersion in partner organisations; - To expand and consolidate the school's European partner network; - To ensure academic and professional recognition of mobilities, through diploma supplements, Europass, and visibility on CVs and professional profiles. The project also responds to several transversal Erasmus+ priorities: - Digital transition, through the development of digital and collaborative skills, as well as the online valorisation of mobility achievements; - Environmental awareness, through reflections on transport choices and responsible practices in an eco-certified school; - European citizenship, by fostering an understanding of European values and cultural diversity. This project is also part of a broader trajectory: building on the success of its initial Erasmus+ experiences, the school now aims to expand its mobility offer, involve more study programs, and develop new partnerships, including outside Europe. The 2023 project represents a key milestone in consolidating existing practices and opening new horizons for international collaboration.
